Moved the rest day to Friday. Val went out for a night out with the girls. Sex in the City 2. Probably cliched for a group of ladies to go out en mass to see a Sex in the City movie but what can ya do. The weather has been terrible with on and off rain for days so the kids and I played it lazy and sat in side watching Instant Play movies on Netflix through the Wii. It was restful.

I’m disappointed with myself for letting several days go by without posting at least my workouts. Blogging is definitely tougher than it seems. You see other people remaining consistent and think it can’t be all that hard. Little do you know that real life is constantly trying to steal all your free time away.

Here are 3 great recipes for smoothies. All are basic with no added powders of the whey or meal replacement variety. You could of course kick them up a notch by adding some form of powdered supplement. Probably the best piece of advice it near the end though. Freeze your fresh fruit as it begins to turn on you. Now you have some great stock for your smoothies.

Well, I’m fairly pumped right now but it has nothing to do with P90X. Had a great meeting with some very ambitious and smart people and got back late for EST. Really no time to work out and prepare for an early morning networking meeting so I’ll be taking Day 16 as my rest day for the week. Gotta remain flexible about the schedule. By giving myself the freedom to move the rest day I will continue to be positive about my P90X journey and not get down about “missing” a day. Tomorrow we’ll pick up with Plyo and really bust out the workout.

These posts will be me sharing other peoples efforts in posting information out there on the tubes for us all.
Today I found Fitbomb. Very active poster and has completed the Classic P90X as well as a P90X/Insanity combination plus more. I’ve just begun digging into his site and there is plenty to keep an avid reader busy. The site is also giving me some good ideas for sidebar links. I love the 90 day calendars and the workout routine links. Finally there are about a bazillion links to other P90X blogs and a bunch of review links. You can’t go wrong adding this to your reading list. Subscribed and rolled.
